Ancient Chinese doctor of Ming Dynasty Li Shizhen explored the medicinal value of Pok Choi and it became popular outside the Yangtze River Delta region. During 2nd World war, Japanese soldiers took it back to Japan; the it spread into other South Asian Countries and finally became the part of Korean culture, as the main ingredient of "Khimchi".
Now it's popular throughout the world and available in all vegetable markets
